D.P. Vaughan is an Australian author who writes speculative fiction thrillers for adult readers. His works focus on marginalised people. He grew up in Townsville, and moved to Brisbane to study music composition and later earned his master's degree as a specialist English teacher. He has an avid interest in history, science and linguistics, and lives with his family in a quiet suburb of Canberra where he teaches English to adult migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
