Sarah Vincent Welch who is known for chalking her poetry on the footpaths at arts festivals, most recently in the Canberra Art Biennial at the National Arboretum. ‘chalk borders’ (Flying Island Books 2021) received a Canberra Critics Circle Award in 2022. She also writes fiction, is an image maker, editor, and writing teacher. She founded ‘Kindred Trees’ where Canberra poets write about a local tree – kindredtrees.com.au She is a hesitant self promoter, and once came second in a raw garlic eating competition.
Matt Hetherington is a writer, music-maker, and moderate self-promoter. He has been writing poetry for over 30 years, and his sixth collection, ‘Kaleidoscopes’, was published by Recent Work Press in September 2020. Current Inspirations are: raw garlic, vinyl played very loud through big black speakers, and the Corpse Pose.
