Goldfields Libraries and the Eaglehawk Dahlia & Arts Festival are calling for entries from writers all over Australia for the annual Mulga Bill Writing Award.
The 2022 festival celebrates 50 years of the Dahlia + Arts. Writers are encouraged to take inspiration from the theme 'celebration', and submit a poem (max 25 lines) or short story (max 2000 words).
Writers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to apply.
Entries close midnight, Monday March 7, 2022.
Short story: $500 first prize, $150 second prize Selected by Lauren Mitchell, author and writer
Poetry: $200 first prize, $50 second prize Selected by award-winning poet and writer Lorraine Marwood
