Description The Banjo is open to all Australian writers of commercial fiction. Your submission should be an original work of adult fiction, not previously published in a commercial publication.
Note: Fantasy, science fiction, young adult, poetry, plays, works for children and any kind of non-fiction are not eligible.
Prizes A publishing contract with HarperCollins, with an advance of $15,000. Two runners-up will each receive a written assessment of their manuscript from HarperCollins.
