ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - ONLINE
6:00pm Thursday 7 April
Please email your RSVP to ceo@actwriters.org with the subject line Attending AGM by 5pm Mon 5 April.
Members will be asked to vote for the 5 Board Director positions that will be declared vacant at the AGM.
Additionally, office-bearing positions for nomination will include:
Chair
Deputy Chair
Treasurer
General Board Directors x 2
Connect with other writers in our community and have your say on who runs the leading organisation for writing-based culture in the ACT.
To nominate for a position on the Board of Directors
To nominate for a position please email ceo@actwriters.org with your relevant qualifications. Please also provide a 100-word statement on your eligibility for the position, vision for the organisation and an ACT Writers member who endorses your nomination.
Section 13.1B of the ACT Writers Centre Constitution stipulates that all nominations must be received 14 days before the Annual General Meeting. We encourage anyone interested to apply for a position on the Board, particularly if you have experience in fundraising and philanthropy, financial management, not-for-profit law, and not-for-profit business management.
