Translating Loss

2022

Translating Loss collects published haiku, and some new haiku, exploring grief, love, longing, and finding new ways to experience, understand and move forward in a changed life. There are over 80 poems. They can be read in any order, but if read cover to cover will give a sense of journey from loss to new life, from endings to beginnings. The book includes five colour pages with watercolour paintings by the author's late wife, Susan Joy Nevile, a foreword, an afterword by Australia poet Hazel Hall, publication credits, and author bio details.
