ACT REGIONArts funding managed by artsACT is one of the main ways the ACT Government provides direct support to the arts. Funding supports individual artists, arts organisations and community groups. It is delivered through a number of categories, and supports high quality work across a broad range of artforms. ACT REGIONThe Capital Arts Patrons’ Organisation is a volunteer non-profit organisation that has supported the ACT region’s artists for over 35 years. Since establishment in 1983, CAPO has  disbursed over $2.3 million as arts fellowships and awards with support from the Canberra arts and business communities. Creative grants are on offer from CAPO on an annual basis. Recent literary awards have included the Cook Creative Writing Prize.FIND OUT MORE
