About the Author

David Whitbread has decades of experience in graphic design both professionally and academically. He has worked as a design director for various Australian government departments, including as the Design Director of the Australian Government Publishing Service. He was head of graphic design at the University of Canberra, and a founding member of the Australian Graphic Design Association where he was a board member from 2018 to 2022. Today he runs his own design consultancy and publishing house.
