CBR Slam - Vaughn Upward Garcia

  • Verity Lane Canberra, ACT, 2601 Australia (map)

CANBERRA SLAM presents

Featuring now Sydney based home town hero - Vaughn Upward-Garcia!

Vaughn Upward-Garcia is a Peruvian-Australian poet who writes and performs ethereal verse that seeks the divine.
Influenced by rap, spoken word and more traditional poetic forms, Vaughn aspires to blur the lines that divide these styles.

After a momentous year last year taking out first place for the 2023 Bankstown Poetry Slam ‘Grand Slam’,
Vaughn will be back in town to launch his debut collection - poems from the afterlife !!
