Join the team at Smiths Alternative for the launch of The Book of Birds, an anthology of poems celebrating birds, from backyard chooks to comical cockies and everything in between. Edited by Canberra poets Penelope Layland and Lesley Lebkowicz, gorgeously illustrated by Canberra artist Fenja T. Ringl and brought to life by Canberra publisher Recent Work Press, The Book of Birds features poems from a diverse range of Canberra and national poets, many of whom will be reading their poems at the launch. Don’t miss this special evening of bird-themed poetry.
