About the feature poets:
ali whitelock is a Scottish poet living in an old church with her French, chain smoking husband. Somehow she’s published three collections of poetry & despite having published a memoir about growing up in Scotland in the ‘strange & brutal kingdom we call home’, her heart still aches for that dreich Scottish sky.
Lizz Murphy has published fifteen books. Her tenth poetry title Bitumen Psalms was recently released by Flying Islands Pocket Poets. It celebrates place and other things. Lizz’ poetry is sometimes humorous, sometimes disturbing. The Wear of my Face (Spinifex Press) won the ACT Notable Award for Poetry (Big Press) 2021 Born in Belfast, Lizz has lived in Binalong, NSW for ages and also spends a lot of time in Canberra
