Open to all Australian/NZ writers, Asylumfest 2025 is seeking both unpublished or previously published ghost stories for The Mayday Hills Ghost Story Competition. Finalists get the chance to read their ghost story on the stage of the haunted Bijou Theatre on Saturday 25th October as part of the Asylumfest 3-day festival of horror in Beechworth, VIC. The winner receives a cash prize and a trophy designed by artist Dale Bamford.
