ABOUT THE EVENT
Amber Wolf is the first book in the Amber Wolf duology by Lauren.
Friend. Guard. Orphan.
Lish Taylor thinks she knows who she is. But when her team investigates a series of abductions, Lish finds herself guardian of a trembling little boy - one whose experience is unnervingly familiar. And the questions she’s harboured since she was a child, after witnessing the violent murder of her mother, flood to the surface.
Lauren Searson-Patrick lives in the Canberra region with her husband and two little wildlings, Lauren tries to teach her children of the wonders of nature. About the impact of all our tiny decisions and that, sometimes, it only takes one person to make a difference. When she’s not living vicariously through her characters, or kid-wrangling, Lauren can be found at her second home, the coast; feeding her coffee and chocolate addiction; or trying to fit in a yoga class…even though Archie the Labrador would much prefer a walk.
Rebekka Hart (R.K. Hart) lives and works on Ngunnawal land in Canberra, Australia, with her artist husband, two young children, a feline furbaby, and three surprisingly long-lived goldfish. She holds a BA (Hons) in Literature, along with a postgraduate teaching degree. She writes mythic, romantic fantasy set in future worlds, and loves complex storylines featuring characters who are neither heroes nor villains. She is obsessed with shifting vagaries of meaning, with the utopian/dystopian impulse, and with representing matriarchal power structures and queerness in her future-fantasy worlds.
