Jelena Dinic arrived in Australia in 1993 during the collapse of Yugoslavia. She writes in Serbian and English. She is the recipient of the George Town Literary Exchange and The Arts Space residency in Rimbun Dahan, Malaysia and the Eleanor Dark Foundation Varuna Writers' Retreat in the Blue Mountains. She is the co-editor of the Friendly Street Poets Anthology The Infinite Dirt and the author of two poetry chapbooks Buttons on My Dress (Garron Publishing, 2015) and J Like Y (Little Windows Press, 2018). Her first full collection In the room with the she wolf was selected for the Adelaide Festival 2020 Premier’s Unpublished Manuscript Award and was the winner of the Mary Gilmore award in 2022. Her poetry and short stories have been published in literary journals and anthologies including Australian Book Review, Australian Poetry Anthology, Australian Poetry Journal, Best Australian Poems, Going Down Swinging, and Westerly among others. Jelena lives in the Adelaide Hills with her family.

K A Nelson is a Canberra poet who won the Overland’s Judith Wright Poetry Prize for Emerging Poets in 2010. In the years that followed she won the NT Writers poetry prize, and was runner up in the Gwen Harwood poetry prize and the ACT Writers short story prize. She completed a Masters by Research at the University of Canberra in 2020 that included memoir and poetry with a thesis on white privilege. She has a long work history with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations. Her poems have been widely published and anthologised.
Inlandia, her first collection was published by Recent Work Press in 2018. It was runner up in the ACT Writers Centre Publishing Awards the following year. She has another collection forthcoming this year with Recent Work Press.
