When practising GP Dr Ferney Bernal Buitrago used AI to think through a complex problem, he found it inventing citations, papering over contradictions, and agreeing with him at every turn. Then he realised something: its mistakes looked a lot like his own. In ten short chapters, Non-Human Humanity traces a close collaboration with an AI assistant and the uneasy discovery that its flaws mirror the mental shortcuts we all use every day. Written by a clinician, not a technologist, for anyone who has ever trusted what simply sounded right.
