ANGELA GARDNER is a Welsh Australian writer and visual artist with eight published poetry books including Parts of Speech, UQP, 2007 Winner of Thomas Shapcott Prize and The Sorry Tale of the Mignonette, Shearsman, shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year, 2022. Her most recent collections are The Closed Spaces, Shearsman Books UK, 2026 and Slippage, Recent Work Press, 2026 which was shortlisted for the Helen Anne Bell Poetry Bequest Award 2023. Angela was ACT Writer-in-Residence in 2019 through MARION (then ACT Writers Centre).

Angela will be reading for her new collection SLIPPAGE.

OWEN BULLOCK is originally from Cornwall and lived for many years in Aotearoa New Zealand before migrating further to Australia in 2014. He has been writing haiku since 1999 and longer forms of poetry since the early 80s. He teaches Creative Writing at the University of Canberra. His other interests include music, juggling, gardening and chess. 

Owen will be reading from her new haiku sequence THE SCUPPERED LILY.
