In collaboration with The Curatoreum, celebrate the launch of Amber Creswell Bell’s newest book, About Face: Contemporary Portrait Painting in Australia and New Zealand.

Amber Creswell Bell is a Sydney-based arts, design and lifestyle writer, and curator. With a passion for art, Amber is particularly recognised for championing and educating emerging and unrepresented artists. She is currently the Director of Emerging Art for Michael Reid Galleries, curating both the emerging art and ceramics programs. In 2021 Amber established the National Emerging Art Prize (NEAP). Amber’s book Australian Abstract (2023) was awarded the Australian Book Industry Award for Illustrated Book of the Year. About Face is Amber’s sixth book with Thames & Hudson.
