The Chief Minister’s Governance Lecture takes events from ACT Government archives and uses them to explore current issues and debates.

Jen Webb, Poet and Distinguished Professor of Creative Practice, University of Canberra, will present the 6th lecture in the series, discussing ‘Arts for Arts Sake: Arts, Community, Government, Pandemic’. Drawing on historical records of ACT Government arts grants, ‘Arts for Arts Sake’ will explore the importance of the arts to our communities, and the impact of the pandemic on artists.

Presented by the Territory Records Office and hosted by Tara Cheyne MLA, Minister for the Arts.
