Power. Passion. Politics

Canberra Writers Festival 2022

The Canberra Writers Festival (CWF) is coming up next month featuring a host of Canberra-region writers! The Canberra Writers Festival returns for it’s 7th year, with the festival taking place the National Museum of Australia, the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, Kambri Cultural Centre (ANU), the National Press Club of Australia and 4 National Circuit Barton.

After the impact COVID-19 had on the festival being canceled for 2021 CWF are excited to bring a broad and popular line up of authors to Canberra. Across more than 70 live events CWF will offer a dynamic range of international, national and local literary talent under their driving theme of Power. Passion. Politics.

We are so excited to see so many ACT Writers connections including ACT Writers patron Marion Halligan, Hardcopy alums Tabitha Carvan and Natasha Sholl, ACT Writers Creative Producer Nigel Featherstone, and ACT Writers Chair Emma Batchelor.

For the full program and to book tickets head to the Canberra Writers Festival website! You don’t want to miss out on this fabulous weekend of literary excellence.
