NRW 2020

27 May – 3 June
National Reconciliation Week

In 2020 Reconciliation Australia marks twenty years of shaping Australia’s journey towards a more just, equitable and reconciled nation.

Right Wrongs
In the spirit of this important week we wanted to draw your attention to a fascinating interactive website created to commemorate the 1967 Referendum. It chronicles what happened in the lead up to 1967, sets the scene and explores the events surrounding the Referendum, as well as what has happened in the years since.

It poses the question - how far have we really come?

Reading for Reconciliation

We love recommending fabulous books and promoting the work of fantastic writers. We’ve put together a small collection of some favourite recommendations for Reconciliation week. These books are either written by Indigenous authors or concentrate on the history and the journey to reconciliation, or both. We’ve included a mix of genres. Make sure you’ve got at least one of these important books on your reading pile.
