MARION Awards
Submissions are now open for the 2024 MARION Book Awards
The annual MARION Book Awards highlight and celebrate the excellence and talent of writers in the ACT and surrounding regions. The MARION Book Awards are open to books published in 2023. Entries are received under the categories of children’s books, fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Submissions are welcome for both self-published and traditionally published works.

“The MARION awards shine a spotlight on talented authors, poets, and playwrights, giving them the recognition they deserve for their contributions to the literary world. This acknowledgment can help increase their visibility, and encourage them to continue producing high-quality work.”
A shortlist for the MARION Awards will be released in May. Winners will be announced at the MARION Awards event in June, public health conditions permitting.
Applications for the MARION Book Awards close on Monday 18 March.
