We’re back and looking ahead to 2026.
The work continues, and so does our belief in writers and the role they play in shaping public life.
In this moment, the role of writers is not just important, it is critical. Right now, we need bold, open and generous spaces for creative expression. We send our love and solidarity to writers and arts workers standing together in the face of censorship, and silencing.
Over the break our team spent lots of time reading, travelling, and reflecting on what we do, why it matters, and how to keep going together.
