Awards 2020
The ACT Writing & Publishing Awards are now open.
The aim of these awards is to recognise, reward and promote writing by ACT region authors that has been published by small publishers or self-published. For the purposes of these awards the eligible region for entries is defined as (see map).
Books published by nonprofit organisations (such as AIATSIS, the National Library of Australia, National Museum of Australia, Australian War Memorial, CSIRO etc) which publish books as an adjunct to their main public purpose are also eligible for the Awards. There are four award categories: Fiction; Nonfiction; Children’s books and Poetry.
