Ghostie

Windy Hollow Books, 2022

When Mum and Dad are busy working, Ava gets bored. Luckily for her, Ghostie comes to the rescue.

There’s mischief and mayhem galore as together they explore his ghostly powers and celebrate family, friendship and imaginative play.

Ghostie was inspired by the real-life active imagination of Stephanie’s granddaughter, Ava. And the author was delighted to find that illustrator Mel Armstrong had drawn the spitting image of seven-year-old Ava without ever having seen the real-life inspiration for this book.
