The Trojan Dog

Wakefield Press, 2001

What do a bureaucrat accused of theft and computer fraud, a Russian tech-head with a taste for off-beat digital humor, a bald detective, and dog that survives on worms have in common? Sandra Mahoney, self-styled investigator, probes the answer to this and many other questions.

When a powerful, but unpopular bureaucrat is accused of theft and computer fraud, Sandra is convinced the charge is false. But how can she track down the culprit when almost anyone could be the enemy?

In her search for the truth, Sandra finds herself in a battle of wits with an elusive and unscrupulous opponent, a fight in which no one's allegiance can be taken for granted. Her quest takes her where clues turn into lessons about devious claims of loyalty and greed rubs shoulders with mortality.
